Hästens or Vispring?

The same materials, a different approach

Vispring and Hästens both believe in natural fibres and in beds that last decades. Where they part is the route: Vispring builds heavily to measure, with fillings and spring firmness tuned to the sleeper, while Hästens trusts a fixed build that does its work as a whole.

For couples with a large weight difference that is a relevant distinction, because tailoring per half solves something directly there. Both brands offer a two-half version; the question is how far that goes.

How it feels

Broadly, many people experience Vispring as firmer and more direct, and Hästens as more enveloping. That is a preference and not a quality judgement, and it cannot be predicted from your height, weight or age.

Precisely for that reason this is the worst possible comparison to make on paper. With two brands that are both excellent, it is the feel after a few hours that decides — and that cannot be imitated in a showroom.

What we can say about this

We don't sell Vispring and won't take anything away from it either: it is a serious brand with a defensible philosophy and for some people the better choice.
